Embryology Bill - current status
Sadly, MPs have voted in favour of this Bill and have backed the creation of saviour siblings and animal-human embryos. MPs also refused to amend the abortion laws and the threat is that abortion be legalised in N.Ireland and liberalised in general. We have taken our stand against ungodly laws but there still remains a need to pray that righteousness will re-emerge in our land and that our leaders would be convicted of sins against God.

Christian evangelists told not to preach in "Muslim area"!
Arthur Cunningham and Joseph Abraham were warned by a Muslim community police officer that they were committing a hate crime by attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity and that he was going to take them to the police station.
They were handing out Christian tracts on the corner of Ellesmere and Alum Rock Road in the city on 19 February this year, - an area at the heart of a terrorism inquiry last year. Pray that God would keep the doors open to allow Muslims to hear about the good news of Jesus Christ.

Christian couple lose right to foster children after they refuse to affirm homosexual lifestyle
An experienced Christian couple who have fostered more than 20 children have been denied the right to foster more by Derby city council for refusing to affirm homosexuality.

Intercessor prayer alert

Terrorist threat: police have foiled numerous plots
Sir Ian Blair in a recent interview (April 2008) alludes to the police having foiled 15 terror plots in the UK since the year 2000. The threat against innocent lives in this country is still very present.
We need to thank God for His undeserved protection, but also keep very vigilant in prayer against the terrorist plots out there, and the spiritual forces behind them.


We really need to pray:
* protection over our airports
* wisdom and insight for the police
* that those plotting would turn to Christ
* protection over shopping centres and train stations
* Our coastlines
